Nikki Wright - Hey! My name is Nikki Wright and I am 21 years old. I was homeschooled like all of the other kids, but now I've graduated! I have been playing the fiddle for about 4 years now and I love it. I really like to be outside and I love to play badminton, hunt, take walks, animals (except for llamas, lol), dutch blitz, fun with friends, music, shoes, and old books. Some of my favorite bands/groups are: Alison Krauss and Union Station, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Barry Scott and Second Wind, III Tyme Out, the Crabb Family, Gaither Vocal Band, Pine Mountain Railroad, J.D. Crowe and the New South, the Dan Tyminski Band, and the list goes on forever! I guess the fiddlers that I'd like to play like most are Stuart Duncan and Alison Krauss. Some of my other favorites are Jim Van Cleve, Andy Leftwich, Aubrey Hanie, Casey Dreison (I could NEVER play like him, lol), Jeremy Garret, Luke Bulla, and Megan Lynch. The Smyth County Jam is always honored when Nikki makes an appearance at the Jam.
