Mike Wilson - Although Mike Wilson was born in Missouri, he was raised in Wytheville, Virginia. and he now lives in Pulaski. We are happy to have Mike visit us at the Smyth County Jam. Mike says he plays guitar and bass and he sings as well. He is laid off from Volvo, as a welder, presently. Mike's father and uncle played music. He is the father of four children, none of whom are inclined to make music. Mike plays at the Hillbilly Opera in Dublin, Virginia. Two of his favorite musicians are Russell Moore (from the band Third Tyme Out) and John Starling with the Seldom Scene. Hopefully Mike will come back to the Smyth County Jam again soon.
