Tyler Williams - If you did not attend the Smyth County Jam last night,; you missed a very good group of musicians and one very special fellow. Tyler Williams is from Johnson City , Tennessee. He is twenty-eight years old. Tyler has been blind since he was three months old, and as he says, "I don't know anything else." He is also afflicted with cerebral palsy. He is a most talented singer, and plays guitar, mandolin, bass and says piano is his main instrument. This very excellent musician certainly knows how to please an audience! Tyler's band is called "The Tyler Williams Band." He says his granddad and dad and an uncle play some music. He has two sisters who are younger than he. If you missed hearing and seeing this phenomenal musician-singer, we hope he will return to the jam. He says they talked about coming for quite some time and hopes they can come back again. They are assuredly welcome. Tyler likes the music of Blue Highway. A favorite song is "Little Maggie."
