Johnny is the husband of the well-known and very talented Jeanette Williams and a member of her band as well. He lives in Danville, VA, but was born in Fries, VA. He plays guitar and sings and is a gifted song writer, having written three songs for Tom T. Hall. Doyle Lawson has just recorded one of Johnny's songs. Johnny's 'day job is a salesman for a linen service. He says he has great admiration for the Stanley Brothers. He also mentions being influenced by the late Charlie Hawks of Galax and Cullen Gaylean.
