Avery Welter - The Smyth County Jam welcomes Avery Welter; this is his first time here. As always, we are very pleased to have young musicians with us. Avery makes his home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, currently he is enrolled at ETSU in the Bluegrass Program; this being his first semester there. Avery plays banjo, guitar, fiddle, and mandolin in addition to being a singer! His father plays banjo and guitar. Avery likes to hunt and fish and enjoys 'fast cars. He has one brother who plays guitar. Avery's favorite musician is Tony Rice. His favorite song is "Free Born Man." We encourage Avery to come back to Smyth County Jam and play for us at any time.
