Stephanie Anne Svrchek - Stephanie comes to the Smyth County Jam from New York. She was born in North Creek, NY and still lives there today. She heard about the Smyth County Jam throught the website and then talked with Larry Hogston. She plays guitar and fiddle, and is a very good singer. Stephanie is in a "casual band". Tonight, she is traveling with Larry Blackhurst who is also from NY. She started playing when she was 12, and has three daughters (Natasha, Olivia and Martina) that also play. She was taught to play guitar by one of her dad's friends. She list "Remington Ryde" as her favorite group and "I Thought I Heard You Calling My Name" as her favorite song. She says; "I play at my local nursing home and get some gigs and make dozens of dollars" and thinks that our jam is "very cool". We hope that Stephanie can return to the Smyth County Jam one of these days as we really enjoyed her music.
