Steve Starnes - Steve Starnes comes from Lebanon, Virginia to the Smyth County Jam. He plays mandolin and fiddle. He is not with a band currently, but likes to jam with other musicians. His fiddling style is very smooth and easy to listen to. Steve says he has played for about thirty-five years. Both his grandfathers played, as well as one great grandfather, who was a fiddler also. He has three children and four grandchildren. Steve is a self-taught musician. He works as a contractor and says he admires the "Blue Grass Album Band".
