Jimmy Skeen - The Smyth County jam welcomes yet another of the talented Skeen family. Jimmy is also from Lebanon, Virginia, he is the son of John “Deward” and the father of Tyler, who often comes to the Jam. Jimmy plays mandolin, fiddle, guitar, a “little” bass and sings. Jimmy also has a daughter, Kimberly, ten years old who has started piano. Jimmy is employed by Appalachian Power Company. He says the musician he admires most is his father “Deward” Skeen! We hope the Skeen family will visit us often at the jam.
