Junior Royal - The Smyth County Jam welcomes Junior Royal to our stage. He is from Bristol, Virginia. Junior plays guitar and sings. He was a member of the very popular "Dixie River Boys" for fifteen years. Currently he is with "Classic Country" band where he is surely a big asset. Junior says his grandmother played claw hammer banjo and one of his uncles played fiddle. He has been playing since he was eight years old; that’s close to fifty-five years! Junior is a disabled Vietnam War veteran. He says he enjoys the music of "Third Tyme Out" band. We hope he will show up with again us at the Smyth County Jam.
