JC Radford - It is indeed a pleasure to welcome JC Radford to the Smyth County Jam. JC is from Roanoke, VA originally, but now lives in Kingsport, TN. JC plays bass and does in exceptionally well; one of the best! He is a very good singer/songwriter also. JC says his father played claw hammer banjo. He is employed by VFP (they make equipment shelters). JC plays in a band called "Tennessee Skyline". JC says he likes to listen to the old Reno & Smiley band. He admires John Palmer as the ultimate bass player. JC wrote the song "Turned Off Cold" which is a crowd favorite. We hope he will return to the jam any time he can.
