Mike Poe (1955-2012)

Joseph Michael Poe, age 57 passed away Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
He was born in Smyth County, VA and was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Poe and a brother Walter Kelly Poe. He was a member of the Falling Water Baptist Church and was very musically and artistically talented. He was previously employed at Lincare and served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include:
Children: Beth Poe, Kingsport, TN Melanie Poe, Maine Jessica Poe, Maine
Parents: Gordon & Fannie Poe, Marion, VA
Sister: Teresa Poe, Marion, VA
Brother: Doug Poe, Dublin, VA
Several Grandchildren, Step Children, Step Grandchildren and other loving family members also survive
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday July 8, 2012 at the Falling Water Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Creasy & Rev. Tim Boyette officiating. Interment will follow in Attoway Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com.
