Ernest & Livinia Payne - They are known as Ernie and Vinnie to everyone. They live in Tucson, Arizona; however they have visited almost every place in the USA, including Alaska, in their motor home! Ernie was born in Oklahoma and Vinnie in Arkansas. The Payne's have no children. Ernie is retired from the University of Arizona after thirty-eight years there in computer sciences. Vinnie says she too, worked for the university and hired Ernie. and then married him! After this she went into real estate for some time. Vinnie says as a young girl she played guitar. In fact, all her family played music. Currently they are following The Crooked Road, and are delighted to have been made so welcome at the venues. It is our pleasure and delight to have them visit Smyth County Jam, we hope they will travel with a good memory of the Smyth County Jam. We hope they visit again when they get the chance.
