Tommy Nichols - The Smyth County jam welcomes a newcomer to our venue. Tommy Nichols comes from Mt Airy, North Carolina; a long drive! Tommy plays guitar, bass and sings very well. He is a Baptist minister, by profession. His church is called Trinity Baptist Church. He says it is a small country church. Tommy has two sons and a one year old granddaughter. One of his sons is involved in the same gospel musical group with Tommy and other members of the family. Tommy says he visits area nursing homes and preaches and they also sing for the patients. His musical group is called "Narrow Way." Tommy admires the "Brent Rochester Band." who are another gospel group, missionaries and members of his chuirch. A favorite song of Tommy's is "Beautiful Altar of Prayer." We sincerly hope that Tommy will come back to the Smyth CountyJam as often as possible.
