Clark Mixon - Clark comes to the Smyth County Jam from the Boone, NC area. He plays bluegrass banjo and some guitar. His wife, Nancy, plays bass and is an outstanding singer as well. Clark has been playing about forty-five years. They make a dynamic duo on our stage. Flatt and Scruggs was an influence on Clark as he grew up listening to their music. It would be hard to find better influences than that pair. The Mixons have one son.
