Doug Miller - Doug lives in Abingdon, Virginia. He plays banjo and guitar. Doug is retired from the US Coast Guard, and is currently doing general contractor work. He says his mother played piano as well as one of his sisters. Doug plays with Dave and Stan Williams in a band that is just called “No Name Band” pending a “real” name. We welcome them back to the Smyth County Jam with any name. He likes to listen to the music of Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs.
