Zach McCraken - The Smyth County Jam is always pleased to have a newcomer on our stage. Zach McCracken is a first-timer and we welcome him. Zach's home is in Bristol, Tennessee; however he is a first year student in the Bluegrass Program at East Tennessee State University. Zach plays an excellent bluegrass banjo and says he plays a bit of guitar. Zach's father helped get him get interested in the music. He has one brother and one sister. Zach works year 'round at a South Holston Lake boat dock, as well as attending school. He says his favorite musician is Ron Stewart. A favorite song is "Wild Bill Jones." He says he enjoyed his time with us and looks forward to coming back soon. We hope so as well.
