Bill Lohmann - Bill comes to the Smyth County jam from Richmond, Virginia. He is a reporter for the Richmond Times-Dispatch. He and senior photographer Bob Brown are doing a series on US Route 11 from Winchester, Virginia to Bristol. This series is NOT all about music, but does include it. It is about food, interesting folks and everything in between. Sounds like a vacation! Bill has a wife and three children, in various stages of growth. Although he grew up in Richmond, he has come to enjoy this area of southwestern Virginia and its people. He and his family camp at beautiful Grayson Highlands State Park during their time together. We are thrilled to have these men visit the jam and hope they will see fit to return.
