Perry Huskey - Perry comes from Shelby, North Carolina (about half-way between Charlotte and Asheville). He says he plays bass for the most part, but also plays guitar, and mandolin. He does not have a relative who plays music. Perry is the owner of Perry's Refrigeration. He plays in a traditional Bluegrass band called "Herman Coffey and the Bluegrass Tradition." He has an eleven year old daughter, who plays fiddle (when she can be persuaded!) Perry says he enjoys the music of Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, and Junior Sisk & Ramblers Choice. A favorite song/tune is "Dear Old Dixie." He and his friends think the Smyth County Jam is an excellent jam, and hope to return . We hope so too!
