Tom Horton - Tom comes to the Smyth County Jam from Kingsport, Tennessee. He has been married to Beverley for forty years. He is a retired funeral director-embalmer, and owned a flower shop for many years. Tom plays guitar, and says he played banjo several years back, but decided to just play guitar only. Tom says his father played guitar and sang at home, (not on a stage). Tom and his wife, Beverly, plays with the Pleasant Hill Band and Turkey Creek Band. Tom says he enjoys listening to the music of Tony Rice. He has no current favorite song.
