Larry Horn - We are very pleased at the Smyth County Jam to welcome another member of the Horn family. Larry is the son of Emery and Pauline Horn who are regular attendees at the jam. He lives in Fenton, Michigan and works for General Motors. Larry is a superb fiddler and plays guitar too. He comes by his musical talent through both his parents. Larry has one daughter. He plays with a band in Michigan regularly at the Flint , Michigan Moose Lodge. one Sunday a month October through May. Larry grew up listening to a lot of classic bluegrass bands such as Flatt and Scruggs etc. instead of rock and roll. He is visiting his folks currently, we wish we could keep him here to play for us. Larry says he likes the fiddle music of the late Jimmy Campbell very much. We invite him back any time he can come to our jam.
