Ada Horn - Ada is one of our most frequent attendees at the Smyth County Jam. She enjoys dancing and does ceramics in her spare time. She has four children, all of whom have settled fairly nearby. Ada makes her home in Meadowview, Virginia where she has a very tastefully decorated place. Ada has a huge collection of all types of baskets hanging from her ceiling in the den. This is a most attractive display. She has been coming to the Smyth County Jam since 2003 and also goes to several more in the immediate area. Ada is a 'retired nurse who still works three days a week, sitting with a private patient in a local nursing facility. She was born in Jewel Ridge, Virginia. Ada's late husband was a brother to Emery Horn (Pauline's husband.) We hope Ada can continue to attend the jam for many years to come.
