Sam Holloway - Sam is a first-timer at Smyth County Jam. He comes to us from his home in Shreveport, Louisiana. Sam says he has been a friend of our own Steve Crabtree for about 15-16 years. That amounts to good credentials for him. Sam plays banjo, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, bass and piano! He is one talented musician to be able to handle all those instruments. Sam says he loves this area and has decided to stay here and form a band with Steve. That should be an awesome band! Sam's granddad and an uncle played music at one time. He says he could not pick a favorite musician; that he likes so many who play stringed instruments.
