Herb Henderson - Herb is half of a father and son team that hales from Fredericksburg, VA, and are visiting family in this area. Herb play bass, guitar and sings, and his son Matt who is twelve years old plays bluegrass banjo as well as many adults who have played much longer. Herb's wife. who was not on stage plays piano. They play a lot of gospel music as a family group. Herb likes the Stanley Brothers as well as Flatt and Scruggs. We are happy to have Herb and Matt at the Smyth County Jam, and hope that they come back when they can.
