Chuck Harris - The Smyth County Jam is delighted that Chuck Harris came to visit our stage. Chuck is from Statesville, North Carolina, (that is quite a long way to drive.) He sings very well, plays guitar and bass. Chuck is self-employed in the re-modeling business, (“such as it is”, he says, because of the poor economy now days.) Currently he is not playing in a band, but mostly fills in and jams when an opportunity comes along. Chuck is the only person in his family who follows music. He has one daughter, two granddaughters and one great- granddaughter Chuck says he likes many types of music and finds it hard to choose a favorite performer. He does not have a favorite song he can call to mind. We hope he can visit us again here at the Smyth County Jam.
