Courtney Hamm - Courtney has been visiting the Smyth County Jam for a couple weeks, and will continue into May. She is a student of Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. Currently she is doing a study on Appalachian Culture(s). Courtney lives and works in the town of Marion. She is manager of Macados restaurant there. She says she has very limited time for any other pursuits. Courtney does not play a stringed instrument, but does play some other instruments. She has one sister. Her mother has roots in Grayson County and her father is from Smyth. Courtney is a single lady, with a steady BF-not quite engaged YET!! We at the Smyth County Jam wish her well in all her endeavors.
