David Hall - The Smyth County Jam is pleased to welcome David Hall to our stage. David is a member of the "Crawdad Creek Band." He is from Bluefield, West Virginia. David says he has been playing guitar for fifty plus years. He is also a singer. David says his father, and an uncle played music, as well as a cousin who played professionally. He has been with the Crawdad Creek Band off and on for a year; they get together whenever they can, as it is not always convenient for them. David has two sons. He is a retired machinist. His favorite musicians/singers are George Jones, Ralph Stanley and Ricky Scaggs. One song he likes very much is titled "Sheriff of Bluefield", written by Stonewall Jackson. We hope he will come back to visit and play here any time.
