Millard Edwards - The Smyth County Jam welcomes Millard Edwards to our stage. He was originally from Wise, but lives in Scott County now. He is a retired railroad engineer. Millard plays banjo mainly, but can play all instruments except mandolin. He is a member of the "Hollow Ground Bluegrass Band." Millard's grandfather played fiddle and banjo; as well as an uncle who could play about any instrument. Millard has two grown sons and five grand sons. He says he likes the music of Lester Flatt and Carter Stanley. As to a favorite song, Millard says there are too many he likes just to name one. Millard has a radio show each Wednesday night from six pm to midnight on WAXM 93.5 on the dial or WAXM.com on the internet. TUNE IN!!
