Wayne Dye - Wayne Dye comes to the Smyth County Jam from Cleveland, Virginia. He plays mandolin, guitar, fiddle and piano. Wayne says he played with the Dixie River Boys for about fourteen years. He is father to three daughters. Wayne comes from a musical family, his father played as well as his granddad , and his siblings. Both sides of his family was involved in playing music. He is retired from the coal mining industry on disability. Wayne's favorite band is the Whitetop Mountain Band. Wayne now plays with the Crooked Road Ramblers.
