Jerry Coleman - The older member of the Big Creek Ramblers comes to the Smyth County Jam from Rogersville, Tennessee. Jerry Coleman is retired from his career as a refrigeration technician. He has uncles who have played with him. He says he has been playing about fifty-one years. Jerry plays bass, and some rhythm guitar and sings baritone. There is a jam on Thursdays in Rogersville, at the City Park which he invites all to come to, beginning about 7pm. This is Jerry's first trip to the Smyth County Jam and we sincerely hope he will return when possible. Jerry says he admires Doyle Lawson and his band Quicksilver. His favorite song is Don Williams' "Good Old Boys Like Me."
