Karen Carr - Karen plays bass with the Crooked Road Ramblers and makes her home in Galax, Virginia. She handles the upright bass with style and energy! Karen says she plays guitar, a 'little' banjo, but mainly bass. She is retired from Hanes factory. Karen has one son. She says the music of Bill Monroe is her favorite. We hope Karen will come back to the Smyth County Jam again.
