Dale Burns - The Smyth County Jam is pleased to have Dale here from the northwest USA--(south of Portland , Oregon.) He and his wife Cerise are here visiting a friend and attended the Rhythm and Roots Festival in Bristol. Dale plays mandolin and sings .He has been playing music about five years. He says his grandfather played mandolin and banjo, however Dale never got to meet him. Dale is a geologist by profession. He likes the music of Bill Monroe and Ricky Scaggs. The Smyth County Jam would like to see more of Cerise and Dale.
