Shooter Brown - The Smyth County Jam welcomes Shooter Brown all the way from Hood River, Oregon. Shooter is the grandson of long-time jam participant Bud Brown. Shooter is ten years old and will go into the fifth grade when school begins. He is a very talented young fellow, at home on and off stage. Shooter tells us that he can play guitar; acoustic and electric rhythm. We hope to hear him play before long. This we do know that he is a good ballad singer. Shooter says he likes school and makes excellent grades. He has two pet lizards, he says that he had three, but one died. Shooter enjoys "air softing"--this means shooting with pellet guns. We hope that Shooter enjoys his visit to Smyth County Jam and East Tennessee, and will come back as time permits. He likes the music of Jim Reeves very much.
