Bob, Brown - Bob Brown is a senior photographer for the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Along with Bill Lohmann, they are doing a series on Route Eleven from Winchester, Virginia to Bristol. This is the last of the series. It can be seen later on the paper's website (http://www.timesdispatch.com). Bob has been with the newspaper for forty-five years. He grew up in Rockbridge County, Virginia, but he has come to like this area of southwestern Virginia very much. He says he likes the friendliness of the people he has met here. Bob has a wife, five children and two step-daughters. He is a self-confessed "old hippie', who plays guitar. He was in a folk group in the 1960's. Two of his children play music. Hopefully, we will see more of Bob and Bill here at the Smyth County Jam. It was our honor and pleasure to have them visit us.
