Ken Bohling - Ken Bohling comes to the Smyth County Jam from Stanley, Virginia, which is near Luray. Ken plays a very smooth and excellent fiddle and is a delight to hear. Ken is retired from the CIA and now has time to travel a bit. He has been playing fiddle since he was about fourteen years old. Ken has a son living in Tennessee, who plays all instruments EXCEPT the fiddle! Ken plays with a bluegrass band called Greg Lam and Friends. He says he heard about the Smyth County Jam through the internet. He and his wife are following the music venues around on this trip. Ken says his favorite musician is Kenny Baker. A favorite tune is "Southern Flavor".
