Phil Bevins - Phil is the father of Joe Bevins and the head of the Tower Street String Band. He also plays with the Back Porch Pickers at times. Phil is an LPN at Salem Veteran's Hospital, Salem, Virginia. He enjoys hunting and fishing, when he has time. His wife, Teresa, plays bass in the family band. Phil says he enjoys the music of the New Ballard's Branch Bogtrotters, the Whitetop Mountain Band and Doc Watson. Phil plays mostly fiddle and some banjo. He and his family live in Tazewell, Virginia.
