Bradley Gene Beavers - Brad Beavers comes to the Smyth County Jam from Tazewell, Virginia. Brad is in his first year at East Tennessee State University's Bluegrass Program. He says he likes his courses a lot. Brad is an only child. Brad's great uncles and great grandparents played music. He says he is able to play bass, guitar, mandolin, fiddle and dobro, and will sing a bit, if need be. the late Carter Stanley is a favorite of Brad's. He says he has no favorite song, but likes many.
