Gunther Baganz - What a sublime pleasure to welcome to the Smyth County Jam a firsttime visitor from Germany. Gunther comes from Hamburg, Germany and is following the music trail of The Crooked Road. He says he has been to the Floyd Country Store, passed through Galax and is heading on to the Carter Fold. Gunther plays banjo, guitar, accordion and a 'little' Jews harp. His father played music. Gunther is self-employed as a web designer. He says he likes Tony Rice, Crooked Still Band and Punch Brothers (Progressive bluegrass.) We are pleased that he chose to come to the Smyth County Jam. Perhaps on his next vacation he will come by again.
